Nori Akitas

"Toki"
IABCA CH/ CH ABAR's Midnight Bayou Brew a la Toyo aka "Toki"
Sire: CH Kita Hoshi's Cruisin for a Brewsin
Dam: Beardusk's Madison Avenue
DOB: October 18, 2008
OFA Hips Good, Elbows Normal, Patellas Normal, Thyroid Normal, Eyes Clear
Toki finished his AKC Championship quickly winning a Bred-by Exhibitor Best-in-Show along the way. Toki is a joyous soul who is happy no matter what he is doing and brings happiness to all those arounds him. He has excellent size, bone, and substance with a lovely Akita head, good structure, and lovely movement.

"Seiya"
CH ABAR-Toyo's Stealing Moonbeams
Sire: GCH Buckridge's Showtime Celebri Te
Dam: GCH Allen Acres Darq Moon Shine
DOB: 7-18-11
OFA Hips Good, Elbows Normal, Patellas Normal, Thyroid Normal, Eyes Clear
Seiya's Dam, Shine, is a niece to my second Akita, Inori. Inori set the bar for me both in behavior and in structural soundness so I jumped at the chance to get a puppy from her lines. Seiya has more than lived up to my expectations - she has beautiful structure and effortless movement. She is very intense and serious even for an Akita and bonds very tightly to her people.

"Sable"
Nori-ABAR-Toyo's Livin La Vida Loca aka "Sable" (AKC major pointed)
Sire: IABCA CH/ CH ABAR's Midnight Bayou Brew a la Toyo
Dam: CH ABAR-Toyo's Stealing Moonbeams
DOB: 12-18-12
OFA Hips Good, Elbows Normal, Patellas Normal, Thyroid Normal, Eyes Clear
Sable is from an unplanned litter between Toki and Seiya in fall 2012. Despite being unplanned, the resulting puppies have matured into very nice Akitas bringing together the strengths of both parents. Sable has good size, bone, and substance; very correct structure and flawless movement. She likes very much to be the center of attention and enjoys showing off in the ring.

"Jakobi"
Baycrest's Eye of the Tiger at Toyo-Nori-ABAR
Sire: Nippon Jume Hisahsi (Hungarian Import)
Dam: Baycrest Akeyta Success
DOB: January 24, 2016
Jakobi is from a very good breeder friend, Kathy Coffman, with Baycrest Akitas. While in many countries the Akita has been split into the Japanese and the American Akita, in the USA it remains one breed. And Baycrest Akitas blends the two types very successfully producing stunning Akitas with wonderful type. I am very excited with this recent addition to my Akita family.
"Aurora"
Baycrest's Sleeping Beauty
Aurora is the matriarch of the household. She has never been shown but she is a stunning girl. Her sire is one of my all-time favorite Akitas. She is deaf but that does not keep her from being all Akita and a wonderful companion.
"Seren"
Araby's Seren Claer
Seren is the "token" Labrador around here. I grew up with Labradors and they hold a very special place in my heart. She helps mute the Akita intensity and lighten up their seriousness. Pictured with her best Akita friend, Inori, who has since crossed the bridge.
